"I dream my paintings, then I paint my dreams"
- Vincent Van Gogh
As this is my first ever blog, then I should really say a little something about me, so here goes...
Well, I guess it gets to a point when you have to start believing in yourself as much as everyone else does!
I've always loved art & photography, just ask my Mum! I used to draw and paint until my eyes were sore and red raw. Even now, nothing has changed, as I sit here at 12.38am writing this and playing with a few photographs I took recently. I have to grab time when I can, as our 7 month old keeps me rather busy. Against everything I founded my past 22 years of working on, I am now going it alone and working for myself...or should I say my family. It's in a field that I adore and am passionate about, so how could I possibly fail??
Today is the first real day that I can say that my website - this website - is up and running. I still have a way to go with it, but it seems to be getting to the point where it's functional for what I need. Thank you Weebly for supplying such a great, albeit addictive, tool.
And thank you to all of you who are joining me for the ride. Let's hope it's not too bumpy ;)
